situation

First born in 2004 and staged at multiple venues over the UK including London, Manchester, Hull, Huddersfield and Leeds the Tri-Nations is the biggest international event in the Rugby League calendar. Contested by the three leading Rugby League Nations Australia, New Zealand and Great Britain the competition has global appeal and is televised across the world. Event organisers the RFL commissioned Fluid to give the competition an identity to match the prestige.

brief

Strict guidelines were in put in place with various considerations integral to the outcome. All three nations had to be evident in the brand mark and a device to promote it as a Rugby League event was essential. Flexibility was also important as the mark would be used on shirts, television, marketing material, big screens and even painted onto the pitch.

The Event as been a massive success down under and in the Uk and the brand is now one of international recognition!
