Founded in 1999 and operating in Huddersfield since then, Fluid have now acquired Britannia Buildings in Elland, West Yorkshire which was originally constructed for Huddersfield/Halifax bank in the late 19th Century. Refurbishments have now finished and the company has started trading from their new home in Elland.
The prominent listed building is well known locally due to the impressive features including an entrance supported by four marble columns and a statue of Britannia. Internally the building has now been completely refurbished into a modern open plan office with three floors (ground level and two suspended levels), glass entrance and communications area.
Elland is a growth area due to the heavy investment in both commercial and residential property, this is mainly due to excellent access to the M62 (Junction 24), which immediately serves Leeds, Bradford and Manchester. In addition to good access Elland has a well-serviced town centre with over 100 businesses catering for all requirements.
